Team Building Events Featuring The Texas Steak Cook-Off Activity

Most of our groups have been either in meetings, training, or traveling all day. The first thing that we do is get a beverage in everybody’s hands followed be a Texas-themed meal. The exact menus vary based on the venue where we hold your event. In most cases, the menu is Texas BBQ with all of the trimmings or Tex-Mex.

Our Texas Steak Cook-off is a smaller version of the same  steak cook-off held at the world championship steak cook-off. First, we hold a mini-class on Texas BBQ & Grilling. We primarily focus on grilling steaks and teach tips and tricks used by world championship steak cooks. Next, we present a quick orientation about how the steak cook-off will be held and what the judges will be looking for in a winning entry. Small teams are forms that work together to create a winning entry.

Once the steaks are judged, we close with an awards ceremony where a Grand Champion is declared. Framed certificates are awarded to the winning team members. We can upgrade the awards to laser-etched cutting boards on request.

We end our team building events with an opportunity to take team and group photos.
